Casting my mind back now to earlier in the year and Rakhee and Bal’s gorgeous Queens Hotel wedding in Cheltenham…
Rakhee had come to me through a recommendation (thank you Sam and Krupa!) and when she told me they’d chosen the Queens Hotel, I thought of one thing: that fabulous staircase.
On the day, the gods had been kind and Cheltenham was bathed in sunlight. Great for the shots later across the road in Montpellier Gardens.
As for the ceremony, this was an intimate occasion with Rakhee and Bal opting for a small number of close friends and immediate family only. Following this it was time for a few family pics and then on to shots of just the two of them. I knew just the place.
The wedding breakfast was a delight with Bal’s infectious laugh permeating through!
This was a relatively short day for me as things were pretty much over by early evening but it was a lovely day and Rakhee and Bal made me very welcome indeed and, like most Asian weddings, I was made to feel like one of the family.
The Queens Hotel provided Rakhee and Bal with the perfect place for their delightful wedding and I must say it was a real pleasure being their wedding photographer and playing a part in their day. I hope you like my selection of shots from their wedding…
