Clearwell Castle Wedding Photography – Gloucestershire: Always nice to pop over the Severn Bridge for a change of scene and no better place than Clearwell Castle to do it. The three of us had already had plenty of time to get to know each other (what with their pre wed shoot earlier in the year and a gloriously colourful Hindu ceremony just a week previously…) so shooting Sam and Krupa’s English wedding felt like a day spent with old friends.
With over four hundred guests at their Indian wedding, these guys don’t do things by halves so I was prepared for another lively occasion and wasn’t to be disappointed – the bigger the better as far as I’m concerned! Clearwell is also great for us photographers because bride and groom can get ready in different parts of the castle without fear of bumping in to each other and I certainly enjoyed ambling between the two “bases”, capturing the early morning mayhem.
I had such fun at this wedding. So many characters who all knew me pretty well by now and weren’t afraid to ask for a pic or two throughout the day. Of course I was happy to oblige and took nearly as many photo’s on other people’s camera’s as I did my own. The highlight for me though was the shots we got outside by the lake. Simply beautiful. I was so impressed with Krupa too who wasn’t feeling very well but absolutely nailed it. Luckily she perked up shortly after and was firing on all cylinders come the evening as you’ll see.
So here we go – a short selection of images from Sam and Krupa’s beautiful wedding day. And look out for the lake shots…
