In March 2012 I decided to head west from my hectic London life to the beautiful Cotswolds. I’ve certainly not looked back. My wedding photography business is thriving and I count myself very lucky to be working at so many interesting and beautiful places.
So if I was to single out somewhere that really covers all bases when it comes to choosing a wedding venue, where would it be? Cheltenham. As a bride, you are simply spoilt for choice: National Trust stately homes, historical manor houses, castles, rustic barns and converted cinemas – they are all here and that’s not forgetting more elegant hotels than you can throw a handful of confetti at.
According to Guides for Brides, there are seventy eight places to choose from to get married within Cheltenham and the surrounding area so I’ve put together my own bespoke collection of those that have particularly caught my eye when it comes to getting beautiful wedding photographs. I’ve picked these because they have charm, beauty and a uniqueness that is not always easy to find. I also like them because they perfectly complement my photographic style and enable me to get the pictures that I love taking and my brides and grooms love to receive.
