Burford Wedding Photography – Bay Tree Hotel: My first wedding here at the Bay Tree Hotel and you couldn’t have asked for a more glorious day. Wendy and Thom live in Australia and I honestly think they smuggled the sunshine over just in case!
This was actually one of those weddings where the distance between us meant we didn’t get the chance to meet up before the big day. As you’ll see from the pictures though, you’d never have thought it as these two treated me like an old friend and were up for anything, including a stroll through Burford High Street, greeted by plenty of well wishers and car horns.
As you can imagine, the Aussie humour was flowing during the speeches and ramped up even more later when it was time to hit the dance floor. Always a great five minutes or so immediately after the first dance as shapes are being thrown to the max and the dad (and mum) dancing is in full swing!
The Bay Tree Hotel turned out to be the perfect choice for Wendy and Thom to make the long trip over for. The sun shone, the drink flowed and everyone smiled. Lots.
