Wellington Barn wedding photography: It’s funny how you get your gigs isn’t it? I’d actually shot for an accountancy firm in Swindon that wanted a website revamp as well as a load of head shots, Charlene fortunately being one of them. Once we’d finished she asked me if I wouldn’t mind swapping hats and shooting her wedding at Wellington Barn and, well, the rest is history…
With my wedding hat now firmly on, I can honestly say I loved shooting this wedding. It was actually my first time at Wellington Barn and I was really taken with the set up – great light inside for the ceremony as well as far reaching views which perfectly suit my style of shooting (I love having fun with BIG landscapes).
And Ross had secretly brought their “fur baby” Staffie along for the ride too, taking pride of place at the front ready to surprise Charlene as she ventured up the aisle. Ross had mentioned this would elicit lots of tears although I don’t think he quite meant for them to be his own, god love him!
The was a few months ago now but I do know they loved their pictures and who can blame them as it was such a special day. We did finish on a bang (literally) with fireworks providing the perfect finale too!
Here’s a small selection to give you a flavour…
