Wedding Photography Matara Centre: It’s always great to revisit one of my favourite Gloucestershire wedding venues: the Matara Centre offers such golden opportunities throughout the day for mixing the quirky with the downright gorgeous that my face always lights up when someone tells me they’d love me to shoot their wedding there.
There are so many reasons to celebrate this wedding that it’s difficult to know where to start. Being a charmingly adorable couple helps (and they were tops!) but Tamsin and Rich had other tricks up their sleeve to make this wedding a belter. I could mention the beautiful flowers, the welly walk from the church and “the leap” not to mention Rich’s rather impressive moonwalk and Tamsin’s “flying” first dance pictures that had me smiling throughout. Oh and not forgetting the brilliant Richard Parsons who worked his magic and wickedly cheeky banter and produced the best Vulcan death stare since Spock. But it was the way these two never stopped smiling all day that made my job…well, not really a job.
I’ve been a Gloucestershire wedding photographer for a number of years now since upping sticks from London and have worked at the Matara Centre on many occasions since and it is weddings like this one that make me never look back. Tamsin and Rich were the sweetest couple and trusted me implicitly throughout and I’d like to think my pictures reflect this.
So rather than talk you through the day, here’s a selection of shots which I think do a far better job, suffice to say the wedding ceremony was minutes down the road at the local church and everything else was at the Matara!
Hope you like them…
