Stonehouse Court Hotel wedding photography: I’m very lucky to have so many wonderful, distinctly different wedding venues near to where I live in South Gloucestershire. One of these is the Stonehouse Court Hotel near Stroud: a characterful, converted manor house with delightful grounds as well as a pretty church and canal just the other side of its redbrick wall for added photographic effect for those willing to give it a go.
Fortunately at today’s pre wedding shoot Leanne and Darren were just that couple so after getting a variety of pictures within the hotel’s pretty gardens (love the swing shot, guys!), we ventured out. Sometimes you make your own luck and after grabbing a few moments near the canal I noticed some swans coming upstream towards us presenting a golden opportunity to capture Leanne and Darren in this idyllic, quintessentially English setting with the sun streaming down. Gorgeous.
September is Leanne and Darren’s actual wedding at Stonehouse Court and after today’s performance I think they’re both in fine shape for some gorgeous wedding pictures. Note to self – remember to book the swans!
