Stone Cripps Barn Cheltenham Wedding Photography: A perfect hot summer’s day accompanied an idyllic Cotswold setting for Alec and Claire’s relaxed Stone Cripps Barn wedding. Claire was not too fussed about bridal preparation pictures so my day started an hour or so prior to the ceremony, just enough time to get some nice detail shots before the guests arrival.
Stone Cripps Barn is a little off the beaten track so in order to ensure everyone found the place, a mini bus was laid on and it was fun capturing everyone piling out of it to be met by Alec at the barn’s entrance.
Accompanied by her proud father, Claire looked stunning in her ivory dress and in next to no time was standing side by side with an unashamedly chuffed looking Alec.
Prior to the wedding breakfast, we stole away for twenty minutes or so, enough time to capture bride and groom alone together. I took Claire and Alec for a wander up the nearby track to have the barn as our background setting for several of our pictures. And what gorgeous ones they turned out to be with both Alec And Claire looking fabulous with the late afternoon sun beaming down on them.
With Claire being Scottish and Alec Argentinian this was always going to be a wedding with a difference, so it was fun seeing the first dance replaced with Scottish Ceilidh! A charming couple, beautiful location and a perfect summer’s day enabled my first wedding at Stone Cripps Barn to turn out rather well!
Can’t wait for my next visit later in the year but in the meantime, here are some of Alec and Claire’s best moments from their day…
