Pittville Pump Room Wedding Photography: Ok, I’m on a bit of a blogging roll! My third in a week and what a corker Liz and Ash’s Pittville Pump Room wedding was back in July last year.
We’d already had a fun engagement shoot together in Sudeley Castle earlier in the year and made a pretty good team so I was really looking forward to this classic style wedding: a traditional church ceremony at St Peter’s Church in Winchcombe followed by the reception back at Cheltenham’s glorious Pittville Park and Pump Room.
The ceremony was blessed with the sun’s rays piercing through the stained glass and bathing the bride and groom in an ethereal light. Then after, once confetti had been thrown and a few quick group shots taken for good measure, it was off to Pittville Park to await Liz and Ash’s grand arrival in front of the house.
The Pump Room has an amazing mezzanine floor which goes the whole way round the main room (look out for pic of the two of them looking down over the wedding party…) so we couldn’t resist getting a few shots there before heading out for a walk around the grounds. It was such a gorgeous day and so lovely to watch people paying their complements as we made our way around the Park, stopping as and when we fancied a shot.
The music in the evening was a heady mix of Bhangra and 70’s Disco which certainly kept the dance floor busy. With these types of weddings you’ve just got to get in amongst it all and snap away and you’re guaranteed a few priceless moments! Such fun. And to cap it all, a wonderfully kitsch Indian Ambassador – supplied by Suzie at Kushicars – was waiting outside to whisk them off in to the night. Perfect.
I’ve put together a selection of shots from Liz and Ash’s vibrant, fun wedding which certainly show what a brilliant place Pittville Park Pump Room is for a large celebration. Enjoy…
