Limehouse Marina pre-wedding shoot – Paul and Nicola
The guys were really keen to have a Limehouse Marina pre-wedding shoot and this was where they lived and loved the thought of seeing their home as a backdrop! Incidentally, Paul and Nicola asked me to be their London wedding photographer earlier this year: particularly exciting as they would be getting married in the beautiful St Bartholomew the Great Church (famous for the memorable funeral scene in Four Weddings and a Funeral) in London’s Smithfields with their reception to follow a stones throw away at Haberdashers Hall.
Limehouse Marina provides so many great photographic opportunities and this as well as a walk along the Thames, was our ‘studio’ for the morning. Although Paul and Nicola were both naturals in front of the camera, they each said how useful it was to have a run through, especially as their wedding daywas only two weeks away!
Limehouse Marina is not an area I’ve visited very often but I must say that if you are a London wedding photographer looking for somewhere just that little bit different, this is a great choice.
Here are a few shots shots from the morning’s shoot…
