Hyde Barn Wedding Photography: Another look back to a gorgeous sunny day in June earlier in the year when I shot Alex and Laura’s Cotswold wedding in the Slaughters followed by their evening’s celebrations a few miles up the road at Hyde Barn.
Alex and Laura had already proved themselves to be great company at their pre wedding shoot in Woodchester Park not long before and were real pro’s in front of the lens then so their wedding shots were going to be a breeze.
The ceremony took place in St Peter’s, a wonderfully atmospheric 12th century church in the heart of Upper Slaughter and was followed immediately after with ice creams in the warm summer sun. Seriously, what’s not to love about that idea?
In next to no time it was back to pretty Hyde Barn to enjoy the perfect Cotswold Summer wedding. I persuaded our newlyweds to hop over the fence for a few shots in the adjacent fields – pretty Summer meadows and views to die for really helped things along and just in time for “the balloons” too!!!
Alex and Laura’s Hyde Barn wedding was a real joy to be a part of and one of those weddings when it really didn’t feel like work. The best ones. It was also lovely to hear from them soon after they’d received their pictures and hear how thrilled they were with their pictures. Thanks also to Sarah who helped me on the day and also took a few lovely bonus pics too!
Here is a very small selection of pictures including some of my own personal favourites…
