Abi and Steve’s Chiddingfold wedding was held at St Mary’s Church but this was only one aspect of what turned out to be a fabulous day, and not just because they both had the weather – September is such a good choice for a wedding! Each staying within 100 yards of the other at both the Swan and Crown Inn, it was a pretty easy job capturing those getting ready moments with both ‘camps’ being in fine, stress-free mood and full of smiles. Perfect.
Once finished it was a quick walk across the road to the church for the wedding ceremony – St Mary’s Church is very beautiful but quite dark so I had to be careful with my exposures to ensure pictures were both bright enough and in focus. Following a lovely ceremony it was off to a relatives fabulous house (with marquee, haystacks, big field, pink wellies…) for the wedding breakfast and evening celebrations. Following some really well written, heartfelt speeches (well done that Best Man…), the lights were dimmed and the partying began providing Steve a chance to show off his rapping skills with Abi looking on adoringly!
This was a very long day but only because I found it hard to leave as there were so many great photo opportunities! A lovely couple and a wonderful day.
Here are some of the highlights…
